Washington Health Data Privacy Policy
Draft · last revised 13 September 2026 · effective date to be set at publication
This Washington Health Data Privacy Policy supplements our Privacy Policy. It applies to consumers in Washington State who use Alltaken in a personal or household context, and to information that is “consumer health data” under Washington’s My Health My Data Act: personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and that identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health status. Where this notice and the Privacy Policy describe the same practice, they are meant to agree; tell us at support@alltaken.app if you find a difference.
1. Categories of consumer health data collected
Depending on the features you use, we may collect the following categories of consumer health data:
- the supplements and medications you record, with your doses, schedules, notes, intake history and adherence;
- wellness entries: daily check-ins for mood, energy and stress, and any notes you add;
- the goals, confidence, motivations and age range you choose during onboarding;
- health-related information contained in label photos, text or barcodes you scan, or in questions you submit to AI features and the context used to answer them;
- daily totals or averages imported from Apple Health with your permission: steps, active energy, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep and workouts;
- insights, summaries and analyses derived from your records, which may also reveal information about your health.
2. Sources of consumer health data
We collect consumer health data from:
- you, when you enter or submit information in the app, including label photos and questions;
- Apple Health on your device, only for the categories you authorise and only while you allow it;
- your use of the service: records, summaries and insights generated on your iPhone and on our servers from your own information.
We do not obtain your health information from advertising partners, data brokers, research partners or other users.
3. Purposes of collection and use
We collect and use consumer health data to:
- maintain your routines and history and provide the tracking, reminder, pattern and summary features you choose;
- keep your records available to you across sessions and devices through your account;
- process scans and answer the questions you submit to AI features, which are off until you turn them on;
- understand how the app is used and fix problems, only through usage analytics that is off until you turn it on and that records categorical events, never the content of your records;
- respond to your support requests and to requests about your information;
- secure the service and prevent misuse;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use consumer health data for advertising, marketing or profiling, and we do not sell it. Each purpose and the consent or service-necessity basis that supports it will be confirmed for the final version of this notice.
5. Your Washington consumer health data rights
Washington consumers have the right to:
- confirm whether we are collecting, sharing or selling their consumer health data, and access it, including a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared it and an active email address or other online mechanism to contact them;
- withdraw consent to the collection and sharing of their consumer health data;
- have their consumer health data deleted.
You can act on these rights yourself in the app: Profile › Delete my account and data deletes your account and its data on our servers and then on that iPhone; turning AI features or usage analytics off, or revoking Apple Health access in iPhone Settings, withdraws consent for those features. For confirmation, access or any other request, email support@alltaken.app. We may need information sufficient to verify your request, we will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we do not charge for reasonable requests. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
6. How to submit an appeal
If we decline to act on a request, you can appeal by emailing support@alltaken.app and enclosing a copy of, or otherwise clearly referencing, our decision, so that we can review it properly. We will tell you in writing what action we took, or why the appeal was declined, within the time required by applicable law. If your appeal is declined, you may contact the Washington State Office of the Attorney General.
